Matthew Goldman, JD

Coach

Matt has been involved in mock trial since 2011 when he competed at Michigan State University for three years. From 2014 to 2017 Matt attended the University of Illinois College of Law during which he competed on the law school trial team. Since graduation, Matt has clerked for the Illinois Appellate Court and worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Champaign County. Matt has served as a coach for the undergraduate Illinois Trial Team since 2016 and co-head coach since 2019.

Audrey Goldman, JD

Coach

Audrey got involved in mock trial while she was in law school at the University of Illinois. After two years of law school mock trial, Audrey started coaching the undergraduate mock trial team. Since graduating law school in 2017, Audrey has worked as an associate attorney at Beckett Law Office, P.C. Her practice focuses on both state and federal criminal defense. Audrey has been a coach for the undergraduate Illinois Trial Team since 2016 and co-head coach since 2019.
